On campus, it is not always easy to know what is happening, where to go or how to join in when you do not know anyone. That is part of the problem we want to address with Okeiya: bringing students, associations and campus life closer together.
You can feel lonely even when you are surrounded by people. Mental health and social isolation are part of what motivates us. We want to make opportunities for meaningful connection easier to discover, without putting the whole responsibility for belonging on you.
Our goal is to make activities, associations and projects easier to find, so you don’t have to know the right people to hear about them.
We want to make the first step clearer: what to expect, how to join in and who to go with. You could also simply browse what is available.
A shared activity or project can give people a starting point to meet. We also want to help associations share opportunities to take part and welcome new people.
Okeiya is still in development: these are our goals, not features already available. There is no pressure to take part. Social connection does not replace professional support, and you do not need to join a community to ask for help.
